Ive never been a big England fan, don't even bother watching them most of the time.
England managers seem to have to fit a certain criteria. To me they seem to be boring, have their certain set of fav players & don't like going beyond these unless they have to. Roy is the classic of the above.
How Cresswell & Noble don't get a look in on current form is crazy. I agree Antonio should as well. I always used to be amazed back in the day Devonshire never got more of a look in.

I hope they don't get picked from a purely selfish view...we don't want them getting injured for England. We've got bigger fish to fry at west ham, and frankly who gives a shit about England at the moment

Must admit Woy really has not learned a thing since taking on the national manager role. He talked about picking players in form but never has. He will say its about being faithful to the players that got through qualification against more mediocre nations.
We could make an impact at a tournament with a savvy manager but Woy was a "yes man" appointment by the FA and that is where the root problem is and has always been.
Luke Shaw? You gotta laugh :-)

I nearly posted back in July that Bilic would be West Ham manager for 6-8 years before becoming England manager.... I didn't 'cos I couldn't be bothered with the ridicule that would have followed, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if that happened.

A possible chance is that he can obviously play well in a number of positions. He would make a great impact sub as aswell. That said he obviously has no chance as isnt back up player for Spurs or Man Utd.

He could certainly do enough trouble is even if he does he won't be picked, look at the top 8 every team has in it has a player or two in the England squad apart from one, guess who that is?

Hodgson lost the plot some time back. He's obsessed with so called big club players and certainly seems to have a very negative view of West Ham and it's players. Antonio is every bit as good as many players who've been in recent England squads, ie Arsenal's Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott etc.
Let's be honest if he'd been showing the form he's shown since xmas for Arsenal, Tottenham, Manure, Chelsea, Man City etc he would be nailed on for the England squad.
Also, although I've never previously been a 'Noble for England' supporter his form in the same couple of months must surely deserve a call up.
But Woy has lost the plot when it comes to Luke Shaw, a bloke who wasn't playing great, then broke his leg. Now Woy can't wait to welcome him back, while completely ignoring Aaron Cresswell. Can you imagine what he would be saying if those players teams were reversed.
England have had some shit managers over the decades but Woy is as clueless as most.

Antonio doesn't stand a chance... Jesse Lingaard just needs to play 10 mins for 'Utd' and score one to Antonio's 7 and Lingaard will get the nod.
Personally, I would be happy with that 'cos I couldn't give a toss about England... but that's the reason why I don't give a toss about England.
